I'm not sure if you're the photographer or the model (or both), so I'll just critique this the best I know how regardless.

Vision: Four stars. The composition and your choice of setting has artistic merit, and I can see that you put thought into the different elements of the photo.

Originality: Two and a half stars. Angles are a common theme, though I wouldn't say they are original. They can be portrayed very beautifully. I'm not sure if I've ever seen an angel paired with a waterscape -- usually waterscapes are reserved for creatures like nymphs and mermaids or symbols of them. But why not an angel, too, yes?

Technique: Two stars. The biggest technical flaw, to me, is the lighting. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it appears you used the camera's built-in flash. This tends to wash out the subject and, especially in this case, disconnects them from their surroundings. I feel like the model doesn't "flow" with the rest of the photo. My suggestion would be to either research and find some alternate DIY lighting, buy a home or professional kit, or try shooting a bit earlier in the evening to incorporate nature lighting. Reflectors would probably be a great idea for a shoot like this, so you can make the most of the light that you have to work with. I don't know what kind of settings you used on your camera for this shot, but you might benefit from venturing into the manual and AV/TV settings, if you haven't already. That way you have more control over the results of your shots.

Impact: Two stars. I think the photo is creative and that with the incorporation of some of the things I mentioned above, the impact would be larger. You have the concept down just fine, it's only technical things that really need improving. On the model, the best thing I would suggest is maybe alter the costuming somehow to further mesh with the ocean scene. Water and beaches, for instance, have a lot of movement. Maybe a costume that flows more would be more fitting, and the impact of the photo overall would be stronger. I know it's not always that easy. Not everyone has access to fancy designers and whatnot (I certainly don't). If it were me, I'd try raiding closets and seeing what can be put together.

All in all, I'd like to see you revisit this, because it's a very beautiful idea.
